VineWine Italian Tasting 31st October

What’s on this month:

! Viva Italia !
… and that includes Sicilia and Sardegna
SPQR-the legions of Rome took their love of, and respect for wine from Regio Calabria in the south to Corlina in the North; from Turin in the West to Trieste in the East.
“Quo vadis?” went up the cry. All over Europe and into North Africa,” was the stern reply, “BUT NOT WITHOUT OUR GRAPE VINES!”
The fruits of the endeavours of those pioneering vignerons will be on display at Vine to coincide with the Sydney Italian Festival, which runs from September 28-November 13th.
Our customers are cordially invited to join the staff of Vine, along with various Suppliers of wine from many regions of Italy, on Sunday October 31st from midday till 4pm, in the courtyard at 780 Bourke Street.
There you will sample wine, partake of good italian food provided by Daniel and Veronica of Delizie di Casa, all the while being serenaded by la musica dolce Italiano.
This magic mid-afternoon’s festivity will come at the cost of $10 per person, every cent of which will be donated to Crown Street Public School to help purchase much needed equipement for the pupils.
